The Let’s Go’s are purely a true band that is filled to the brim with rock ‘n’ roll excitement and passion. The three piece rock band from Tokyo dressed in matching outfits crank out plenty of energetic, upbeat music from start to finish and will hook you with their enthusiasm and great hooks.
Formed in 2006, the Let’s Go’s have been setting Japan on fire with their music releasing their debut LP “Let’s Go with the Let’s Gos in 2009 and then their second LP REAMP! in 2011. Several more releases have followed in various formats. They took part in the Nikki Corvette Japan Tour in 2014.
The Let’s Go’s include CoCo on guitar and vocals; Marcomi on bass and vocals and Mariko Mariko on drums and vocals. Their music is inspired by the likes of the Ramones, Niki & the Corvettes and the 5, 6, 7, 8’s.
Co Co leads the band as the main composer/writer on guitar and vocals and was inspired to get into rock/punk music from listening to the radio. “In my childhood my father often listening the oldies music in car and I liked them. And then I got to know punk music after growing, that made me excited, not only music but also its fashion. Three chords fast music, and damaged jeans with old clothes looked relly cool, so I wanted to do by myself.”
The Get Go’s have no sight in slowing down after playing almost two decades as a band since forming in 2006. “Formed in 2006, I didn’t think I keep such a long years at that time. “I keep on rocking because I still have something I want to do, or somewhere I want to go, someone I want to see,and the feelins I have written and sing haven’t changed yet. In short, no reason to stop so far.”
The band will be seeking a new drummer as their drummer will be leaving the band at the end of the year but hope to find a new replacement and write a new album in the upcoming year. And yes, they have already toured the United States in 2016 and 2019 and hope to be back for another tour in the States.
“Wanna make more good music and cool merchandise. Wanna make/meet more fellows all over the world. I just wanna have fun! I just wanna do a thing that I wanna do from my heart!”

12. What obstacles have you faced or had to overcome as an all female band?
To be treated with a disrespectful attitude from old guys,
To be treated as an enemy by some girls(band guy’s girlfriend, fans, something)
